I at my desk screaming Amen! (not really, but I feel like it) Many years ago I learned this very thing. I think it is Garthe Brooks who sings a song, “Thank God for un-answered prayers” How true it is. I pray now, when making a decision, that God would lead me, make His will evident, by closing the door if need be.

Yes I always pray that way also. That if God doesn’t want me to go through a certain door to close it. And to open the doors that he wants me to walk through.
When my sister emailed this to me. I felt the same way.
God is awesome! He directs everyone he loves.

Joshua – you were saqtm (saying Amen quietly to yourself) – now I am lqtm (laughing quietly to myself).
Revelation says there are doors that God opens that no man can close. That is both encouraging (there are doors, that once God opens them, no man can close them) it also indicates there are doors that men can close. Sometimes we are the guy closing the door. I sure hope I am never the guy closing someone else’s door.
Have you ever had someone close a door on a dream and you thought it was over, only to find God just wanted you to look for another door? There are some doors that God will allow for a season in order to move us forward but later, that door will close. Don’t give up your dream. The dream is God given – the method is what we sometimes have to figure out.
